Well this looks like as good of a place as any To pull the car over Watch the lights from the city I’m gonna pause the world but leave us be While you hash it out internally The sky will stay black for as long as we need So in the meantime let’s just fear everything And when you say so Not a second before We’ll start it back up No one will know But if I could If you’d let me make one request Make a point to enjoy this while it lasts Don’t you let the saddest words ever cross your lips again I never want to hear you talk about what might have been
2.
You don’t know What’s going on inside my head And I don’t care To bother trying to let you in There’s more to see Than just what’s showing on the skin But I don’t care to let you in I’m fine with the way this is I’ve made a choice Now I’m hanging up peace Got a noose at the ready and it’s ready to swing How’d I get here I thought you would never ask The truth is that It’s nothing new and it won’t pass What you see You think you’re looking behind a mask Well you’re setting yourself a trap When the truth is within your grasp I’ve made a choice Now I’m hanging up peace Got a noose at the ready Sorry if I misled What you thought you solved But this living like someone else has gone on too long I’ve made a choice Now I’m hanging up peace Got a noose at the ready and it’s ready to swing
3.
I don’t believe in much And I need even less in this world These days are numbered That we have left to spend on this globe But I wouldn't want to know When I'm gonna go If the truth be told I don’t have to have it all Just enough is what I want more Don’t let that be too much Don't hand me more than I can hold So I can take off down the road And not be slowed by a heavy load When my my bell tolls And the last breath has left my throat Don’t hold me close The one thing I want you to know Scatter my bones And let the wind decide where I go

Hollow Fame 03:28
You've got your fist wrapped around so tight On this thing that you call your life But you're holding on to nothing You measure your worth in ups and inches That's a drop in the ocean that will soon diminish And what's in your hands is all you can afford But don’t stop trying until your fingertips bleed You’ve got a voice inside that the world needs To blare through speakers attached to a screen And a poorly lit face that demands to be seen You got yourself into the hollow fame One day you'll wake and they'll all know your name You got yourself into the hollow fame Then they'll forget about you the next day You got yourself into the hollow fame How high can you get on faceless praise And will there ever be enough to make you feel sustained Your time would be better spent out chasing the wind You live your life like that and ask why you can't see The forest when it's blocked by all of the trees If you ask me I'd say you caught some vile and viral disease But don’t stop trying until your fingertips bleed You’ve got a voice inside that the world needs To blare through speakers attached to a screen And a poorly lit face that demands to be seen You got yourself into the hollow fame One day you'll wake and they'll all know your name You got yourself into the hollow fame Then they'll forget about you the next day You got yourself into the hollow fame You need to know, have to know what they like So you can know if you're doing it right If you like what you hear don't forget to subscribe

So where can we go from here if I don't believe in medicine? Because I don't believe in medicine No, give me bottle of something that tastes just like you That’d be fine to drink you in tonight Wash you down and feel you slide inside my throat Only way to be sure I’m alive Grab my keys because setting off into the dark Chase it down because it's the best place to hide Drive by giants who are sleeping in the night The moon’s a sliver but still acts like a guide Oh, I'm going to find that water Let it cover me until I become younger Stake my claim and stay there for the rest of my life Might think I'm gone but now I'll never die I know this world is failing fast why don't we wait and build a better one Yeah, 'cause we can build a better one So give your farewells to all the people we'll leave And make amends with anyone that you'd slight One day they'll die and we won't have aged at all Don't give them baggage for the afterlife And when it comes to where it's only you and me We'll think back to when we thought we might Be worried about what tomorrow would bring When we thought that we'd run out of time Oh, I'm going to find that water Let it cover me until I become younger Stake my claim and stay there for the rest of my life Might think I'm gone but now I'll never die If we come across the devil gonna tell him sorry but it's not our time And if angels fly down from heaven gonna let them know we're not ready to fly Oh, I'm going to find that water Let it cover me until I become younger Stake my claim and stay there for the rest of my life Might think I'm gone but now I'll never die

Somebody turned the lights off Someone killed me in my sleep Somebody took a hostage And someone made love to me Now I don't know but I've been told There's something that it's supposed to mean But I had plans to meet you there Until that woman grabbed ahold of me I try to call for help but I can't speak Now I'm shaking shaking shaking shaking Shaking so that I can't sleep Thought I was dead but I'm just in my bed Wishing I could have a lucid dream
7.
Bring on armageddon unless I am forgetting Some place that I’m supposed to be Run and tell your mama I drank all her piranhas Well she might but they never bite me I get that feeling in my fingers the one where they all tingle When your face is what I get to see So just hand me your hand babe I didn’t make plans Because plans are something that we don’t need Now I got one request for you and that’s electrify my spine Plug in turn up and go and don’t you worry about the time Kiss me and feel that spark ignite on your lips come from mine You know I’m going nowhere baby without you right by my side This feeling of devotion is like you slipped me a magic potion And if so I gotta ask what for That spell was such a waste because once I got a taste of you You know that I was thirsty for more Don't know what happened in your past to make you think this wouldn't last But girl I will never leave you sore You don't have to drug me honey you just have to love me And you'll never see me walk out that door Now I got one request for you and that’s electrify my spine Plug in turn up and go and don’t you worry about the time Kiss me and feel that spark ignite on your lips come from mine You know I’m going nowhere baby without you right by my side Please be careful baby and don’t leave me alone Can’t get enough of your touch girl so grab me and never let me go You can shock me to death and I'll go out without a care Because I fall in love just like falling down the stairs

At Home 02:46
Sometimes it might seem like we'll never know Where our next dollar's coming from or just how far it will go But even in the face of that uncertainty At least I can say I have you and that you have me The storms they will come just like they've all come before But we weathered them back then and we can weather some more Just know that even if you sometimes can't see the light We'll get through that tunnel even if it's at night And it's been a long path that we've carried our load But when we each lend a hand we can carry our own And it's been a hard path but we haven't walked it alone And we'll carry it still until we are old At home we can always find comfort and peace Even if we don't know where our home might be There's something to be said about how we've endured In the face of misfortunes that nobody should And with that in mind when the next trial arrives I know we'll face it head on just like all the other times After all that we've been through I think we safely can say That if we never wake tomorrow at least we had today

Think Twice 03:51
Well I can’t tell you which way we’re going All I see is we’re headed towards the storm Been too long since I had any direction It caught up to me now where do I belong Take my hand and please take me with you I’m a loner who can easily be lead Life’s gone stale and I’m looking to start over Wouldn’t think twice if you told me that I can I’ve worried that I’m gonna hurt somebody You might not want to stand too close to me No reason you should go down with the ship When it’s all my fault that it’s sinking If you take my hand I promise I won’t try to Pull you down to the level that I’m on I swear that I’m trying to get myself together But if you think twice I wouldn’t say that you’re wrong I’ve been trying to use this compass It won’t tell me where to go Trying to find myself the right track Getting nowhere on my own I heard once that all things must pass Wish I hadn’t let them go
10.
TV Yellow 03:55
Some things about me that you might not know Are just the things I’d hate to be told On one hand I can be an easy read But then I always keep that book out of reach It’s nothing personal Nothing you did Don’t get offended because I’m tight-lipped I’ve opened up once or twice before But the responses went and left me sore Sometimes when I look at a map I get this sense of fear That it's not a page but a window pane And this is the view from here What if I tripped and fell into it Well I'm sure I'd surely die No way to fall from a mile high And ever hope to survive Paint me up with a new coat Something like TV yellow Need to look my deceptive best To anyone from a distance I never learned how to really trust My privacy wouldn’t be discussed I’m getting better got a way’s to go Until then i’m keeping up the status quo
11.
Hell FM 03:53
You’ll never know when, where, why or how Is it a bump in the road or the unholy hour But when you least expect it and you need it the most The devil’s taking your radio from coast to coast Now you’re tuning in And it doesn’t end Until he says when Please enjoy the deathly sounds of Hell FM You can turn it on or hear nothing at all The phones are blowing up but we don't take calls No we don't play requests or take commercial breaks And we're on the air 24 hours a day Now you’re tuning in And it doesn’t end Until he says when Please enjoy the deathly sounds of Hell FM Don’t you touch that dial, no Volume high as it will go Listen until your eardrums blow And take it with you down the road Soon enough the world will know And don't forget what you've been told You were never in control The devil’s in your radio Now you’re tuning in And it doesn’t end Until he says when Please enjoy the deathly sounds of Hell FM
12.
Traditions are nothing more than obligations Someone decided were important long ago They passed it down in a box they called nostalgia And now someone dead you probably never met is telling you how to live your life and grow It’s not on you to feed a fire That you didn’t even light You’re getting buried by other people Who want you to live their life I think that I would call that self-importance To make you carry the burden of that guilt You weren’t born to be a hostage And you should only care about the things that you want to build It’s not on you to feed a fire If you’d rather watch it die You’re getting buried by other people Who want you to live their life You can’t look back and forward with the same eye
13.
Drag my name over the ground but you think your soles are clean You're walking through the same mud while you pretend to keep the peace Go and tell the world that it's my fault and you've done nothing wrong Not saying that I am not to blame but the blame is not my own I want you to know from the bottom of my heart You're not half as holy as you want to think you are Set my name on fire and watch it turn to ash Just don't stand too close to the flames while you're holding all the gas There's two sides to every story but yours is all that's heard Because you tell anyone who'll listen and I never say a word I want you to know from the bottom of my heart You're not half as holy as you want to think you are When you burn down all your bridges and you have nowhere left to go Don't act surprised to wake up and find that you are all alone And when the poison that you spread is the only thing you know Don't act surprised to wake up and find no one’s bringing you an antidote I want you to know from the bottom of my heart You're not half as holy as you want to think you are
14.
I want to break your fingers so you stop flipping through my history book Because the things that you find on the pages are the things I'd rather you not have a look You'll take anything to use against me and use what you find so you can knock me down It's my fault for thinking that you'd want to know me and not look for ways to put me in the ground So now I'm calling you Ms. Venom and I think you know that you fit the part I swear but can't say for certain that you switched yours with a rattlesnake heart Don't mind me up here on this chair while I do my best to avoid your bite Fool me once and that one's on me but to get me twice well that's just not alright And I don't want to sit here waiting for you to try and strike a second time There's a reason things get left in the past and to dig them up I do not need your help You think that you're some kind of detective and that trouble ain't gonna find itself But to me I'd rather not take the effort to have such a reversing point of view If it's all the same the next thing that I'll bury is every memory that I've made with you So now I'm calling you Ms. Venom and I think you know that you fit the part I swear but can't say for certain that you switched yours with a rattlesnake heart Don't mind me up here on this chair while I do my best to avoid your bite Fool me once and that one's on me but to get me twice well that's just not alright And I don't want to sit here waiting for you to try and strike a second time I'm looking forward to a time that you can do the same You're gonna break your neck looking back that way Time moves in one direction How come you are the exception I got no problem with reflection Until you make it an infection Unless you change your complexion Well I've run out of affection I'm looking forward to a time that you can do the same

G'night 03:47
By my count I’ve lost count of the times you couldn’t hold your tongue And if I had a dime for every time by now I bet I’d have enough To squander through and get away from you On a boat, a plane, a car, a truck or bus Nothing more I want in this world than to leave you choking on my dust But if I gotta choose between fight or flight well I guess that I’ll just say g’night Yeah if I gotta choose between fight or flight well I guess that I’ll just say g’night Hope it’s good Hope that’s alright But now I think I’ll say g’night The things you said are still in my head they bounce around endless echo Can you tell me why when given the choice that you would choose to treat me so Maybe one day my mind will go blank and your haunting voice can be a forgotten tone If I had one wish the sound from your lips would be a sound that I don’t know But if I gotta choose between fight or flight well then I guess that I’ll just say g’night Yeah if I gotta choose between fight or flight well then I guess that I’ll just say g’night Hope it’s good Hope that’s alright But now I think I’ll say g’night You just had to hold your tongue But even that proved to be too much For you to do but at least now you Can say what you want to an empty room Hope it’s good Hope that’s alright But now I think I’ll say g’night
